    Wonder Around: Bar BQ Plaza

Ok. somehow my handphone and laptop are trying to tell me: Hello . It is time for us for a routine health check and maintenance or we are going to be out of order for a long long time. So....despite my tired feet and body I drag along my brother to go repair shop with me.

He tried to wipe my laptop free of dust in the taxi.

Funny incident: The taxi driver asked us: DO we have any small change. We answered No. Only got Rm50. He said better drive through smart tunnel can change money there....so here we are....... eh......paying Rm2 more for a change. -_-.......... Is this the new way to con people money or what? Nowadays is it really tough to find one honest taxi driver that is willing to go by the meter. I can't say these KL taxi drivers are the worst ...coz I did not visit the whole world yet to compare all the taxi drivers. But their attitube certainly is not good enough. It is like 2/3 taxi driver I encounter are all money suckers and lazy fellows. Firstly, they refuse to follow the rules and regulation properly. They refuse to follow meter and want to neogotiate the price with you. Like go to Mid valley from my place is RM11-13. And they will demand Rm30. Last time was RM20....now ...they try to blame on the petrol bill ( when did they use petrol?????????) And now they blame economic bad so must increase price. Hello??? Are u the one having economically hit? Everyone too. I am just bad luck enough not to own a car and prefer a convinent way of travelling around town when I urgently need to do something. And government never build enough public transport. And if you don't agree to this money eating taxi drivers.....you will wait like hell. Maybe 30mins to find an honest one that follow the meter. And very often I notice the taxi drivers refuse to drive you to some place because it is not on their way home??????? Or they claim there is no passanger. ( excuse me?? The fare I pay is enough for even petrol to do a to and fro and earn extra. And I am sure while taxi run on gas it is 100% earn a lot more.) And a lot of taxi drivers just want to go Airport, they don't want to drive around for Rm5 or 10. I don't have a car. So every week I will take taxi at least once so, I know. Maybe it is time to get a car but then again.........the petrol, car park bill and time to find car park. Some weekends ago, my friend and I went to Leisure Mall, car park is FULL. Then we decided to turn round to Mid valley, car park ALL FULL.. then we are like.......??????? What???? Not only that every time we need 30 mins to find a car park too. The car park bill also not cheap. A lot of times it is the same price as taking a taxi there.

Walk around a bit and noticed a weird looking bush of curly green stuff. Take a pic with it. Today dressing according to the current Korean fashion. The skinny, long check box top, long outer cardigan and a sling bag with handles that can be carry on arm too and lastly the flat ballet shoes. My brother -_-....cut my feet off!!!!!!!!!!

Hehehe. Some how i have always had a liking towards this weird big face. Let me stuck my hands into ur huge nose!

Wow...new, spacious, empty gaming arena and the back of my fat pig brother.

Ok...Time to eat again. Seems like I have been blogging about food food food. But I just love to eat and enjoy great food. Live to eat or eat to live ? I think a combination is the best.
Here we are after debating for 10mins on where to eat. Bar BQ Plaza. Seen it around very often but never got to try it out. This is their guide for : How To Cook the BBQ ( the Thai way)

Venue: Time Square, Bar BA Plaze.

The close up: For those we can read mandarin. Anyway it is simple, pour chicken soup into boil. Place the fatty streak of pork onto the hot plate and let it melt away and wet the hot plate with OIL. The best cooking oil ever and eh.......dangerous too. Then place the veges into the hot water to make the soup sweeter. Then after the hot plate is covered with pig oil , Time for BBQ the meats!!

Their special Thai BBQ sauce. Garlic, freshly chopped chili, lime.

We ordered the Family Delux set for 3-4. ( After looking through the whole menu I think the portion is more for 3-4 small eaters than for 3-4.) My brother and I finish the portion for 3-4 person with 4 bowls of rice.......so..........? I think it is a stratergy for people to order more later at more expensive price?
    This set is : Rm49.90

The dinner set. Looks kind of nice. But I don't like the chopstick, but they have to give this type for fear costumer will burn the plasric chospticks over the hot plate.

    The Menu stand
Interesting pitcher. Spirite for Rm8.50. Worth it but kind of diluted.

This is how it looks like: Golden hot plate in the middle.

The seafoor platter: Salmon, sotong, chicken, prawns, fishball, fish noodle and some veges.

The meat platter: beef, pork, lamb, tofu and whatever u see here. I really like the way they arrange the meat, look so nice. But I also wonder how in the world they get the meat like that. It is not about cutting it but...somehow it seem to be more than that.

    Fatty fatty let you melt!

Pile on the melt and enjoy! Have to be careful to fully cook the meat or else you might enjoy some stomache and frequent wash room visit.

MY rice bowl. it is a bit wider and longer at the 2 sides. Kind of different from the conventional round chinese bowl. I wonder is it a Thai thing or just a design thing.

    Pretty pink round Porky~~~

Ahah... In you go. It is great fun cooking your own food this way.

The following pictures are the varies food we have cooked and eaten. Please scroll down for the details. And you can decide whether to visit or not.

Bacon and prawns. The vege is super sweet after cooking for a long time in the chicken soup. I thoroughly enjoyed myself there. Nice food, great fun and I am hungry.

Me with my sprite drink + lemon and a steaming pot in front of me and looking a bit drunk. I have this special ability to get drunk on anything non-alchoholic when I am happy, high and full full. Maybe it is just the effect of full-stomach and sleepiness---> drunk feeling.

    Meat meat Yummy~~~

My brother : finally everyone get to see him. He is totally different from me right? When he was a kid he is very adorable...now? Piggy.

Me and my new buy: Orange cat. I love it. It got such a cute expression on its face!!

Finally time for the Udong~ Wu Dong Mian.

Ai yah.........It is so long......Then oops......After tasting it then I realize it is not Udong....it is fish-made noodle. Something like fish balls made into a long string like shape. Nevertheless it is still yummy.

Overall: 6.5/10. I think can go there once enough already. It is great fun with a lot of people. But taste wise...so and so....I think Korean BBQ taste much better.
These meats are unmarinated so...after a while ,eating a lot of these meats get a bit sick. They are all in their natural form. The shop said it is best for their natural taste but their choice of meat are not the good ones. The Beef is too soft and lamb not much lamb taste. i wonder is it that the machine compress the meat together and made into those round coin meat pieces. There is not much soup to drink too. I remember there is a type of BBQ+ steam boat. Thats nice.
All in all, it is a nice change.
