Me= Pet lover =Society addict. Well it is always hard to explain why you like something so much unless the person also likes it too.
Anyway, this week's theme at the Pet Society is the Australia . There are two types of backgrounds for it. The blue sky with aqua blue sea or the umbilicus of the world. ( Dear friends, you can have fun guessing at where it is. ) My fashionable Pet Lola ( the one with golden blonde hair) is having some fun on beach with friend. Both spotting the latest cork hat and swim wear. Koala bear never cuter than hugging their tree and sleeping all day long. Our pets are wearing cork hats! But what exactly is a cork hat all about? I seriously do not know.
All I know is that cork hat is from Australia and it looks like it had some function with those hanging wine corks around. I had a Koala bear and Kangaroo soft toy from Australia when I was young. Both of the toys were wearing a cork hat.

No offense but kind of silly looking. :P I wonder will it be kind of irritating to have those hanging around your head. My friends reside in Australia informed me that they do not wear it on daily basis too. Haha...Anyway it is always a symbol to represent Australia now. It looks kind of cute too. ^^ I like it.

Having a flu is no joke. It is so common that it is even named as THE Common Cold of which till the end of time ( unless someone brilliant find some cure or human evolve into a whole new level of "ungraded" version of human being. Maybe Homo Sapiens O.2 ) we are going to be stuck with it forever. No way of preventing it ( though there are vaccines, but still the chances are there), No cure, only symptomatic reliefs and sometime complication may occur and worsen the conditions.
Despite remedies from everyone, West or East....garlic pills, honey + lemon, Vitamin C etc...I am still catching cold after cold every now and then. ( I can't really recall...guess it is not that frequent and I often mix the Common cold up with my allergic rhinitis which started just as about the same way.)
I do find something very effective in reliving self and speed up the recovering time from common cold.
Note: Don't ask me where I got the following mask, all I know is from Taiwan, cutesy of my dear Mum with her weird sense of humor. I sometime wonder is it because she is bored with the normal white or plain coloured cloth face mask Or she simply just wanna make fun of us Or it is just her fashion sense. ANyway I will never find out as I am not going to ask her just yet.

I may consider where it outside. Hahaha.... -_-.... I really don't have the courage to wear this out in public ( especially in Malaysia. It is not a culture or usual to wear face mask here. ) Kind of awkward.

More common. I think there are more " Exotic" and " Funny" type of face mask like the one where they draw a nose and funny mouth cartoon on one. That will be hilarious to wear.
Sorry due to over exposure of light unable to capture the true form of this mask. This is no ordinary white cloth mask or paper mask. It is made of metallic white shiny stuff. ( that's why it reflected the light so much.) Me looking half- dead from non-stop blowing of nose and trying to dry my ever flowing mucus from my nose. This mask is black with the words:" Why" " Bad" written on it. All in all I think the mask still looks alright on photo, but it looks much worst when in real life.
Am sincerely glad that the cold is finally over after I had a good rest. Next time I am not going to torture myself ever again by staying in class and continue all work when I am sick. It just prolong the sickness and condition gets worst and worst. Though some people will say it is just a small cold what is the big deal? Somemore go back home and sleep. Well....everyone is different. Just like the pain most female shared. Period pain or period cramps due to muscle contractions. Some people just felt nothing, some people can pain until hug stomach and roll on the floor. I seem one of my friend's mum like that. She had it real bad. No amount of medication or remedies can help reduce it. She is praying every single day for meno pause to come asap.
My skin type is dry. Means I don't have pimples unless I am stressed, anyhow eat, burning mid-night oils. I won't call this skin care product review as I am no expert. I just try out stuff according to my skin type and the ingredients in the product. I tend to choose the " Free-everything" type. Means no alcohol, no fragrance, no colouring, no mineral oil or what so ever that might irritate my skin. Thankfully so far I haven't encounter any allergic reactions to any product yet.
As my skin is dry and I tend to stay in dry Air-conditioned room for long period of time. I really need a lot of hydration. I don't care if ppl think I am vain by keep applying lip-gloss. I don't want to end up like people with lips that's cracking, swollen, skin peeling off, eh...pain and ugly.
Back to skin, it is the same. My toner just finished so as I walk around Guardian I saw this. It looks kind of familiar from some where. Anyhow I just try it out and see. ( Of course I had a careful look at all the ingredients being used in it.) It satisfied my needs so out cries my purse and Hello to Moisture lotion.
The lotion:
Texture: Clear colour and kind of sticky. After application: Feels hydrated and the stickiness just gone after a few seconds. Used it for a few days so far so good. Not too bad. My skin did improved. I really feels safe with this product. Next time I am thinking trying out some other products from this brand.
So girls, if your skin is dry like mine you can try out and see.
1. HAIR The most common thing most people may prefer it to be LONGERis HAIR.
Let's look at the following pretty girls whom everyone want them to be their GF. Which of their hair styles appeals to you more?
No offense to the Stars and Fans. Just my own personal preferences.
Sweet Reece Witherspoon with straight long flowing hair she look 10 years younger than the short bob hair cut---> which she fits her well as a fashionable " mum" look ( also means she looks older and more boring.)
Hyden Panettiere appear to be more mature and round-faced when she had a short bob. I think she looks so much more beautilicious when she have long flowy hair.
Eva Longoria looks radiant with long wavy hair. I wonder why when Stars have bob short hair style they all appear to be older and more "mum-look-alike".
Even the younger generation Korean Star agrees too. Yoona from SNSD cut short her long hair for a TV Drama. Some time later, on a TV program she claims that her popularity drops and Fans start to notice other members of the girl group. She herself admits that she think she don't look so feminine and pretty with shorter hair style. She regrets a bit for cutting her hair. Anyway, her long hair is back now. Guess she will not consider shirt hair style anytime soon.

2. LEGS We LIKE LEGS to be LONGER the Sexier!!!
Mini skirts, hot pants, skinny jeans, tights... who is most suited for today's fashion? Girls with long long legs. It is not all about height when it come to legs. You can be 158cm but you can still appear to be 170cm tall, sexy with LONG legs . How?? Thank your mum and dad for your good proportions! And...Oh please don't curse them if you don't. You just have to be more innovative and make use of whatever you can.
Bad proportions will give a bad illusion that you are short.
3. Nails. It is not only the girls are into Long nails! Even the guys do! See how amazingly long human's nails can grow!!!! Short, stubby nails with cracks = dull, don't really take care, don't bother, not so feminine. While Long, slender, well-kept nails = feminine, beautiful, pretty, delicate, careful. Though super long nails may will you the title of World the Longest and Fame and lots of attention! But still I think just a generally moderate long nails are good enough.
4. Eye Lashes!
How do people fall in love at first sight?? The EYES ! That pair of mesmerizing eyes had taken your heart away in that one fatal glance. And amazingly Long eyelashes can give even more impression.
Before and After! Which pair of eyes is more mesmerising? AFTER! I would LOVE to have my eye lashes long, longer and LONGEERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to the Great discovery of mascara and fake eyelashes. Now everyone can have long lashes to steal some hearts away. See how amazed this girl is by its wonder.
5. Earlobes So what is the deal about earlobes?? Everyone must be wondering why I like earlobes to be longer? Cause so that I can wear more earrings on my ears! Ahaha. Isn't that great! I am sure if you have a careful look at people around you. You may notice that some people don't have the elongated round piece of meat hanging from ears. Poor things. The surface area of their can only contain up to 1-2 pairs of earrings.

But earlobes long are nice but so long as to be able to be tie around your head as a ribbon when you are injured. 6. Tongue. Wow. This German girl here is making money out of her World's Longest Tongue! Of course I want to have long long tongue too! Not only will I be a great kisser, I will be a great licker too. Can lick the bottom of ice cream bowl clean clean. Never waste any food. Hehehehe
Ok. Enough about the parts of the human body that I like to be longer. Let's talk about something else. Something...people can wear.
7. Heels.
You know what I mean right? Killer Heels. The Longer the better! Remember those fabulous fashions where long, tall, slender supermodels striding down the cat walk in super Long and high killer heels?
Sexy Long Impossible Long Killer Long. Even those 180cm tall supermodels need heels to elongate their body what more about us mere mortals with normal height. We need longer heels that can make us look taller!
And who knows? Longer Heels may come in handy when you have trouble tip toe in ballet classes. 8. Long Life. Immortality has always been human's biggest dream of all times. Through history we have seen so many men go to extreme length to attain it but failed bitterly. We now know that nobody can be immortal so long as we are still in this fleshy body with a limited time of life span. Right now through modern medicine and maintain a healthy lifestyle we are able to live much longer than our ancestors.
Long life is good when we have a sound mind and strong beating heart. This grandma below from Japan is the Oldest person at that time. ( sorry I am unable to find the exact infor. Just use the picture to symbolize longevity. ) Imagine how nice it will be to able to live 120 years. We will be able to live through the century into the next. Be able to see the change of the world. Get to spend more times with friends and family. Learn the mistakes of our youth and be able to have enough time tobe able to amend it in time.
9. Toilet Paper. Imagine: You suddenly felt a sharp aching pain in your lower abdomen while in a shopping mall. You rushed into the public toilet just in time to relieve yourself. While you are giving a sign of relief you hand start to reach out and felt something hard. It is not your familiar feeling of softness and smoothness. It is cardboard hard. Not even daring to move your head, you try to peep out of the corner of your eyes...... and this is what you see.
Right now....the thing that's in your mind is: How I wish the Toilet Paper is LONGER!!
10. Time Time is the Classic of All Time.
Everyone like their time to be long. There is forever not enough time for everything as people gets older and more things become more complicated. Not enough time to play, to study, to do things. Not enough time for family, friends, dates. It is just not enough. How I wish my time is longer!!!! I need more time to study!!!
Time really flies. We can never catch it, stop it or even catch a glimpse of it. The list can go on and on about Why I like it ( anything I can think of ) LONG.

Last Christmas~ I went to The Curve. The Christmas decoration there were amazing. I am not too sure about other places but compare to Sunway, Midvalley, The Curve has the best decoration of all. I especially love the performers at the side of the alley where they were singing great love songs.
The atmosphere was great. Everything is shiny, twinkling, glowing and little children laughing with soft music in the back ground. Some how growing up Disney wonder land cartoons, commercialized Santa Claus, chocolates, candies, gummy bears, Feast with all sort of delicacies. The festive season just bring a great joy and happiness to people. May it be commercial or not. It just gave people the excuse to celebrate and have fun.
Everyone is so excited and happy around me. I am very excited too by the brilliant Christmas decorations all over me. It is like I had walk into a fantasy world.
The mention of the word " Last Christmas" always reminds me of this song:

We wanna try out something new, so we have a look around and decided on : Bubba Gump. Drawn to it by its weirdly familiar name. If you ever watched the movie : Forest Gump, you will know what I mean. Apparently that they based the restaurant's theme on that movie. That place is like some old American garage and well decorated with lots of old vintage stuff. Really cute, I love it. There is something special : Run Forest Run. It is a metal plate on the table that can indicate the waiters to stop by your table or just run along and do their stuff. Some of the menu was stuck on to a ping pong ball racket. Kind of interesting as you flip through it. Guess they try to be as creative as possible.
The drinks are nice. I love it. That's me....my face got compressed to appear fatter by the photo program I am using. Still can't figure out a better way to place the photos. Still kind of new to it. We ordered Caesar salad as appetizer, one prawn with cheesy rice and prawn spaghetti. But turn out this two main dishes sucks like mad.
The Milky cheesy rice + prawn is horrible. I thought it baked cheese rice type of thing. Didn't know it is some thing like liquid diluted cheese + milk and watery rice thing. Ok to be fair for all dished the sea food are great and fresh. But this sort of dishes sucks. Oh and the prawn + tomato based spaghetti my friend had also sucks. It is like watery diluted tomato sauce to watery spaghetti again...........horrible taste... We had a hard time swallowing all our food. As we look around and other tables. I guessed their fried stuff may taste better. We ended our groomy dinner asap.....Then we had a refreshing supper by starting it off with The Big Apple Doughnuts! Yummy yummy. The sugars and the chocolate sauce...Oh great. So finger licking good that I don't even have a chance to snap any pictures. They are gone like in 5 seconds. Me, food, me, food, me...So Do I look more delicious now? Haha. .. Yes. I am glad the out side appearance of the food all look very nice. As least they show up so vibrantly on photos and make a nice blog pic.
p/s: I am not sure about what others think. But seriously I don't recommend the above dishes that's all.
As a student, Study is always the first priority. It should be placed number 1 above anything else. Some people even placed it above their family. If you don't do well your parents may disown you so that's that. Better study like mad and never go home, never see your family than failing. Anyway, those are some extreme cases.
Study study... everyone is studying and time is short short short.....-_- About the peanuts, guess it came from Malay idiom. Doing something as easy as eating peanuts. That's the only one I ever heard of anyway.
Lastly, If None of the above can wake U up. Try these! Everything sour U can find. Or a cold bath will help ( but of cos u can't access that if u are in the library. Maybe wash of face will do.)

Wow~~ Mini kiddy pool. It is like WOW. I wonder how I did it. My mouth is aching after blowing for so long. Really out of breath after a while. I need to rest in intervals before I continue blowing more air into this huge thing. See... use Meow Meow passing by as a comparison.
Now me as a comparison. Ok...it is not so big as I can sit comfortably in it. My first intention is to buy it for my little cousins to have a dip in the pool on a hot day.
Now is time to fill it up with water!! Yeah! Must try out first, to test the condition of the pool before give away to kids. Child safety first.

After human test passed, let us do some animal testing. How do cats react to a kiddy pool of cold water on a hot hot day? Test sample 1: Kat kat Note: It has lots of peripheral and visceral fat as insulator towards cold. Trust me, this cat hates hot weather.
Testing 1, 2, 3..... Hahaha~~In Goes the test subject 1. Kat Kat. U can literally see the cat shivers. Oh my, I think I am such a bad Mummy towards my poor little cat. It is just too much fun!! Later I got pick it up and drop it right into the center of the pool and made a huge splash!! But too bad the pics were too blurr and messy and that fat Kat moved too fast for us to capture. We should have recorded this on the video.
Ending : Kat scratch on the kiddy pool..........no more pool for them as the pool leaks. -_-..................
