Do U know How much calories can U take in per day? BMI and BMR.

Fat Cat ~ Adipose Tissue ~ Fat ~ Heavy ~ Unhealthy ~ Health Problems ~ Compromised Life style

If we are Fat Cats We will be called : Sooo...Fat Sooo Cute!

But as humans it is a totally different matter. There is no need for me to mention what are the disadvantages of being FAT and OBese. Even my friend once told me, when she is fat, everyone treat her very differently.( Especially the guys. ) Guys become nicer and more polite to her and less and less people call her auntie instead of Miss. Well... from point of health aspect of course it is best NOt to be Fat. However some people are just too bad to Fat people. Think next time will talk more about what is obese. Now let's go back to: BMR ( basal metabolic rate) and BMI ( Body Mass Index) .

Would You like to know How FAT are you and How much can U EAT per day?

Come have a look at what I find out. This is a rough estimation but should be very close to the actual thing if you follow closely to the calculations. And you may end up finding out some very shocking results. ^^~~

Simple, Just use HB Equation to calculate BMR and use the result to calculate with HB formula to determine your daily calorie needs. So U can know how much U can eat everyday~

HB Equation + HB formula = Daily calorie needs = how much to eat to maintain your weight now. Haha..

    The HB Equation.
The Harris-Benedict equation (also called the Harris-Benedict principle) is a method used to estimate the daily calorie requirements of an individual using their basal metabolic rate or BMR.[1] The estimated value is then multiplied by a number that corresponds to the person's activity level. The resulting number is the recommended daily calorie intake to maintain current weight. The equation does not take into account calories burned by existing large amounts of muscle mass, nor does it account for the additional calories provided by excess body fat—so the equation is more effective for individuals at an ideal body weight or close to it. The Harris Benedict equation may be used to assist weight loss—by reducing the calorie intake to a number below the outcome of the equation.

click here to calculate your BMR, it is easier to calculate if you click on the metric calculation:

Once you know your BMR, you can calculate your Daily Calorie Needs based on your activity level using the Harris Benedict Equation.

    Harris Benedict Formula

To determine your total daily calorie needs, multiply your BMR by the appropriate activity factor, as follows:

    1. If you are sedentary (little or no exercise) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.2
    2. If you are lightly active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.375
    3. If you are moderatetely active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.55
    4. If you are very active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days a week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.725
    5. If you are extra active (very hard exercise/sports & physical job or 2x training) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.9

    Total Calorie Needs Example
If you are sedentary, multiply your BMR (1745) by 1.2 = 2094. This is the total number of calories you need in order to maintain your current weight.

Once you know the number of calories needed to maintain your weight, you can easily calculate the number of calories you need to eat in order to gain or lose weight.

So...thus Tiffany tried out and find out:
    I can only eat ( 1420 x 1.2= 1704 !!) and as I flip over the pack of Korean Instant noodle I had eaten for lunch : 510 Kcal......just this 3: OMG!!

Yesterday I went out with bro to shop. As we had lunch, tea and dinner outside. We realize that everything is freaking expensive!! Not only that everything also......super FAT!! Sigh... maybe just one meal can go up to 1000 kcal. It is even more scary to look at the McD calorie chart on the back of the package. If I remember correctly One Big Mc Burger is 3000 kcal or so. Shocking. . .

Wish everyone luck on becoming healthy and slim~
