    Sir Whiskey the Cat

Hello everyone。Been putting off blogging for a while. Maybe it is the holiday or maybe of what is coming up real soon. Will reveal more when the time comes. Blink * Blink* Anyway, found some pictures I have always wanted to share. So here they are:

I have always been talking about Whiskey Whiskey... And guess everyone been wondering what/who exactly is this Whiskey? It is not because of my addiction to that beverage. Whiskey is the name of my cat. A white not so slender Siamese cat with brown points. It has big beautiful round blue eyes.

Whiskey with its cute cute ears. Why is it call Whiskey? Once again ...it is NOT because I love to drink Whiskey. It is just...Whiskas. Whoever own a cat or ever look around at pet food section may have seen this cat biscuit brand before. So....Whiskey eat Whiskas. Simple as that. Everyone been in love with this name ever since. CUte and easy to remember. Best of all, whiskey respond to it real fast.

Every time I called:" Whiskey~~~~ Come". Somehow after a few moments you will hear some noise in the distance and it is getting nearer and nearer. And...out of the corner of your eyes you will see the approaching Whiskey the cat. Running through the fence and across the lawn to me. ^^~~~~~~~ Right into my lap and "Meow~~~~" loudly to demand food. haha. There are just so many little things about Whiskey that I simply love it to death.

    Whiskey's Story
Whiskey was given to me by my ex English teacher. When it came all the way from Sandakan near Christmas, Whiskey was just a tiny little white bit of fur that greatly resembles a white rat. From the very first day we noticed, this is a very unusual cat. Whiskey is very friendly, out ward, sunny in personality and with a super big appetite. He is so different from the shy, timid little kittens that eat tiny little bit. Whiskey is super sociable. Even though it was the first time he ever come to our house. He acted like a king from that day onwards. He lie against my dad's chest for afternoon. Run around jumping up and down demanding food and affection from all the family members. And Whiskey do ' talk' a lot, extremely vocal when compare to other cats we have had. This is a totally new experience for us.

Thanks to my dear ex classmates from A level, they gave me a huge book of pet encyclopedia.
I was able to find something really interesting about the personality of Siamese cat. Some of them are like dogs can even be trained to walk like a dog by a lead. Oh.......'like a dog!'.
Yes. this is exactly what I think of Whiskey. Look like a cat but behave like a dog.

    From Wiki:
    Temperament

    Modern Siamese kittens
Siamese are affectionate and intelligent cats, renowned for their social nature. Many enjoy being with people and are sometimes described as "extroverts".

Guess my whiskey is also one of these extroverts. The first Christmas Whiskey spent with us, it already started on its adventure to conquer the Christmas tree. Everyday without fail a white little skinny furry ball will be jumping up and down trying to attack all the glittering bits on the Xmas tree. Today it will take down the little presents, the day after took down a golden fairy and finally on the last day.......Whiskey finally reached the peak or the top of the Xmas tree and with such a triumph look on its proud little face. You can simply see it saying: " Yes, I did it." Thank goodness that Golden star on top of the tree was glued to it. Whiskey did not manage to tear it down. Anyway after that we lost lots of the little stuffs to decorate the Xmas tree. As time past by we got lazy and never really did up the tree anymore. Maybe this year we should take out the tree and have some Xmas fun again.

Another interesting point about Whiskey is that, it is the most human-like cat I have ever met. It burks and it farks too!

During its teens or young adult hood Whiskey was very energetic. It will get very excited when the guests come over to our house. It will hang around in the living room ( not shy away and hide like the usual house cats). When opportunity comes it will jump around in and out of the huge china vase to demonstrate its special talent. And end the show with its final jump into the huge vase and stay there. ( The china porcelain vase is around 100-150cm tall and we have 3 of them) When you look into the vase Whiskey will pop up and say hello to u. It is like playing " now u see, now you don't."

Whiskey jump into the vase and you look down. Out pop Whiskey, and you took a step back cause you got surprised by the sudden appearance of its face. Then when whiskey drop back into the vase, you lean your head forward and have a look again. Whiskey will pop up once again. This can go on and on for quite some time. This was one of our house attractions for the family friends' kids. To play with Whiskey.

Whiskey is just so so cute. There are so much more to my this special pet. Whiskey looks so funny with its cross-eye and tongue sticking out look. I am not too sure why...but just one day out of the blue Whiskey start to do this. Whenever it is relaxed this cross-eye and tongue sticking look will appear. It looks so adorable and friends were saying how do I photoshop the pic to make my cat look so funny. Oh well.......just snap the pic at the right time. ^^

The pic below: Whiskey with cross-eye and looking just like a cat in the puss with its majesty lion cat head look.

    Attention seeker: whiskey
whiskey may not be your normal cute fluffy fat round ball of persian cat It is the treasure of my heart. It now spend much time lying on the sofa and enjoy aircon. This is one cat that will tell the owner. Hey! I am hot! On the aircon. On a hot day Whiskey will lie right below the aircon and block the walk way. When you take the hint and switch on the air con, Whiskey will go back to its usual seat. The arm rest of the single sofa seat. Every night whiskey will enjoy the tv with our family after dinner. Before we switch to the thin plasma tv, when whiskey demands attention it will go and lie down on top of the big tv ( which is the center of attention ). As if this is not enough it will hang down its " Nike" tail and swing it back and forth on the tv screen like a window wipe. That's really funny. Lucky we got a huge tv, whiskey 's short kink tail can't obstruct much .

The greedy pig in past life: whiskey
Whiskey just love food. Note: i did not say whiskey love to eat. Yes. It does love to eat but it love food too. So far I have had experience of having 7 house cats and took care of 2-3 cats. Ever since the age of 8 , we always have cats in the house till now. Whiskey is the only cat that eat the most variety of food. From cake, cream, cheese, chicken, beef, biscuit, chips, fish strip, toast...etc it eats a lot of things the usual cats don't eat. Whiskey knows a lot about food too. It don't like to eat any cat biscuit or cat tin, it only wants fresh fish that cooked the " goreng" way ( fried) Not the healthy steamed type. It won't eat much. It will wolf down the whole lot if we served it fried fish. Funny cat. Maybe it likes the crispy outer skin and yummy juicy inside.

There are a lot more to my wonder cat whiskey....will continue later. sleepy

    Me the Babysitter -_-

This post is for people who adore cute little kids. Frankly speaking I myself is not those people who go "goo goo ga ga" over babies and cute kiddies. But somehow kids like to stick around me and parents all love to stuff their kids to me. The free babysitter that can ensure safety, entertainment, solve all emergency in case of choking, drowning, injuries what ever. See what a popular babysitter am I. Haha...Sweat................As I already mentioned I am no big fan of babies. Is not that I don't adore them. I do. Just in my own quiet way I take care of them, hug hug them. Not the keep playing silly games with kids type of people that's all.

Anyway, here is my cute chubby little cousin. Yi Xuan. The little Piggy. He was born in the year of Pig. So is truly a Golden Pig.

He complained in his 'manja' voice that he is cold. Weird....in such a hot weather. Anyway I roll up the sleeves of my blue jacket and put it on him. He looks very Cute right??? Hehehe....

Then I taught him how to pose :" Yeah~~~"

I especially love this look. He looks kind of like a tiny prophet who is praying for World Peace.

Me and Little Piggy. He is not a beautiful kid but he is exceptionally adorable. Yi Xuan got a big backside and 2 chubby short legs. He looks so cute that wanna bite him. Haha. I love to smack his butt when his parents are not looking. ( Just for fun~) His backside is so big and bouncy that he appear to be wearing diapers.

Yi Xuan and Whiskey the pampered cat. This holiday so far I have look after........7 kids.... Those mummy and aunties all throw their kids at me and went out shopping.
It is not that I don't want to help but it is really tiring and frustrating some times. Personally I hate noise and kids are just = to noise. I can't even take my eyes off them for 1 min. Cause the next minute they will be climbing on top of the table trying to reach the cat who is on top of the cupboard. Whiskey was bullied so badly by the kids all the time, once he heard the car sound he quickly ran off and hide. Kids favourite game: Hunt Whiskey down and pull at his tail.-_-.........
My poor Whiskey. Then if it is in pain and scratch the kids by trying to defend himself, Whiskey will be called Bad Cat! Lousy Cat! Poor thing.
Kids.........Moving non stop whole day with so much energy to spare that they don't need to rest at all. Take your eyes off them for 1 min, they will be trying to reach for a boiling kettle in the kitchen, destroying your computer by dropping cups of drinks on it, crying loudly and attract attention from their grandparents ( and complaint to them I don't let them go out etc etc).....there are a lot more. My poor eyes and nerves were really strained after one whole day. So worried they will end up in some trouble or serious injury. Some more these are other people's kids, if anything happen how am I suppose to repay them?
Yi Xuan has been becoming more and more naughty each day. He is almost 3 years old by now and extremely naughty. I just don't understand why he just want to go against everything we said or do. Tell him to eat noodle, he said don't want. Tell him sit properly don't stand on chair, he will make a nuisance. He just won't listen and try to do a lot of things which made me boiling inside. Refused to go home, refused to move, refuse to wear shoes , throwing things at people.etc............Wow....it is really tiring to take care of small kids. Anyway I think my level of patience is getting higher and higher. Haha. Good experience? Don't know. But after this I am not really looking forward to have kids my own. Who knows they may turn out to be little naughty kids that push down a TV from the table, burning the fax machine...etc.. Mischievous sometimes is cute but most of the time is headache...........
Good night I feel so much better after complaining a bit. I still love kids dearly and will take good care of them. But I think everyone do need a break from time to time. I don't think I am interested in opening a nursery or kindergarden...........Haha. I salute to all babysitters, nannies, teachers out there. They are great.

    Mount Kota Kinabalu

Hello everyone. After so many years.......I finally managed to visit Mt. KK once again! Ok... I didn't make it to the top or what. We just got to the foot and look and enjoy its great beauty. I am so glad I stay in such a beautiful place. The blue blue sea with white sand beach is 15mins drive away and Mt KK is so near. I am just like on vacation everyday. ( indeed I am too~)

Hi~ everyone~Long time never see my face. Ha. This is before I got scratch by that cat...Anyway there is nothing serious just kind of annoyed by that fact.

Glad that the hotel room looked comfy and warm. Hotel room rates compare to last time are now sky-high. Sigh....when will economic be good again?

After checked in to the hotel we are all so excited and can't wait to get out into the 'wild' to enjoy the cool environment. The air is fresh, the wind is cool and refreshing, the view is magnificent! I am so in love with KK. It has the right temperature, great scenery and not too rural with just enough advancement. Without too much trouble you still can find things that you need around here. Though may not be able to find some fine processed items but still can get by with it.

The little jungle walk beside the hotel.

    Lalala~~~
What we found on the way! Pine cones on the forest floor. They are so cute and perfect I can't resist take them home for decoration. Imaging Christmas in the hot summer heat. We do have sort of cooler season in Tropicals too. The rainy season where everyday rain rain rain and we get to enjoy a bit of chilliness in the air.

Pretty flowers that brighten up your day! Felt really bad we don't have enough time for more flower farm, butterfly farm visits.

We decided to wonder around and have a look at Poring Hot spring. Mistaken by the sound of the name, I always thought it is 'POURING hot spring'. Ha...It does look much better than I expected. Well organized, clean, nicely set in the deep forest. Around 1 km away from the hot spring we start to smell something like rotten egg in the air. That's the sign you are getting near a hot spring. Whenever the word hot spring came into mind always reminds me of Japan, snow and a bunch of red-faced monkeys dipping themselves in it. Haha. However the Sabah, Malaysia is kind of different from that image. For people from temperate countries with hot springs I seriously don't recommend anyone going. It is a boring hot spring not worth the time and effort but a great get-away for the locals for a change.

The CAUTION! Super hot spring that can boil and cook you alive! In Taiwan hot spring recreational areas always sell eggs for people to cook in the boiling hot spring for fun. I remembered standing on rocks with great smoke coming out from the grounds. I will post some pics on my vocation to Taiwan later. Been kind of " physically free but mentally occupied" sort of busy all this while.

My mum, auntie and grandpa taking a adventurous dip in the hot spring dipping pool. There are pools in various sizes. Some like this is a huge pool, got other smaller pools u can adjust the water temperature to ur liking. Steaming hot water pouring out so becareful!

MY feet! The water is sort of warm. Not too hot, just nice and comfy. I love it. We were so tempted to dip our whole body inside. Warm warm nice water. It was a really relaxing afternoon, enjoying the nice cool weather, lazing around the little pool. Life is a bliss. Wished we had some drinks at the side. Too bad we wasn't really prepared to dip in the hot spring. Thought of just sigh-seeing thus didn't get ready any stuff. There were lots of tourist there too, especially some hot caucasian guys with nice toned muscles. Eh... this makes me sound like some deprived sort of person. Anyway you have to admit some how they got more quality guys to stare at. Life is NOT fair.

walked around 1 hour with my aunt to reach this scenary by canopy walk through. Quite worth it after all the hard walk of brisk walking.

    Mount Kota Kinabalu

Pardon me this is all taken by my hp cam....quality wise so and so.

Fat squirrel at Mt KK park. Guess lots of tourist also have been feeding them. They are very friendly not shy towards strangers and will come forward to take any food u gave them. Haha.CUte little furry things.

    Entrance to the mysterious mountain.

At the bottom of Mt KK there is a little museum sort of thing that you can find out all about MT KK. The natural resource, rocks, animal, habitat, people who stay there. etc...

Grandpapa telling us this is what he had during his early hunting days in Sabah. Lots of wild animals to see.

    Birdie.

Below are a few more pictures from the musuem. Enjoy~~

Rafflesia... really rare now adays. Mum told me she had seen a real one years ago in INdonesia. Really stinky. Smell like decomposed body. Plainly: rotten smell. How amazing this world is. Such a great beautiful flower with such a smell. Weird.

    Grandpa observing some insects.

    worms and insects.
Types of rock that can be found in MT KK.

Last but not least let us enjoy the beautiful Mt. KK again. I am always so fascinated by its magnificent beauty. All of this are taken from hotel window.

Ok. I have been kind of though there is nothing much to it but I am on the move again. Tomorrow I am off to Sandakan for a 3 days 2 night trip. So see ya.....I will try to finish my post on Taiwan Trip asap too. Friends were asking....what have u been doing in Taiwan? Eat, shop, sleep and eat more. Haha..

    Happy Day!!

Hi guys! The weather here in Sabah is great. Nice bright sunshine before noon, cloudy in the afternoon , thunder storms in the evening and finally end up with a cool windy night.
I was so thrilled that day when i dig out these books in kinokunia. Felt just like the way when pirates dig out treasure box and archaeologist discover a whole new Egyptian tomb. I am over-joyed in possession of these books. These are my food for my thoughts and soul. The source of power that make me not to get mad with some inconsiderate and selfish people. Just put down and let go. Life will be so much the better.

I have gotten here some light readings that no matter how many times you read you are still discovering something new. Travel & Life books by Milly are my favourite。My all time lover: classic English literature. ( lots of my friends do not understand my love all these dry boring stuff. Haha...oh well.) Last but not least my Fav. easy reading comic author^^.
I can' t wait to lie my hands on " good wives" and " Agnes grey". I plan to do lots of casual reading this holiday. ^^~~~ finally got to read something else other than the human body. Now i got time to study the human mind and soul that been governing all our actions since beginning of human race.

Progress my cat scratch: Glue stitch drop off some. Recovering quite well and I will be on the look out and testing for the best scar removing/reducing cream. If anyone know any great products please tell me. Thanks a lot.

p/s: I should stop writing any blog post in the middle of the night. The next morning all my post will be filled with so many mistakes. I will feel so ashamed of them. -__- and guess my frens will be laughing at me...." what crap are u writing?"

    A Series of Unfortunate Events

It has been a really long while since I write anything in my blog. Though some people ask me why. I think I will answer :" As it is holiday, I do have a life out of the blogging world."
I realize that sharing about your life on blog and enjoying your life out there is a totally different thing. I saw many people are so busy taking pictures, thinking up what to post on their blog, twitter, Facebook etc. They don't really enjoy ' the moment' when they are at something. Like going on a tour, outing or dinner etc . I saw them so busy posing, clicking cameras, collecting informations about the places they have been. They forgot to sit down, sniff in the air and enjoy the moment. This may not be true for all but surely for some.

There are so much out there in the REALworld.

A series of unfortunate events has affected my happy holiday mood a tiny bit. A daily reminder of it just keep biting in my face -_-............

There are just too many things to worry about and ..........I really donno somehow I have to settle everything myself. And I am not having a smooth time out of it. Maybe it is just the way life is. I don't feel like complaining too much about it. Just try my best to deal with it. All these things are worrying me so much that I became so absent minded!!!!!!!
End up getting choked on fish bone for the first time in my life. Horrible experience. It is a real pain in the throat! I think my oesophagus was injured a bit。 Everything I swallowed I can feel this tiny sharp pain. Luckily that XXX fish bone did went down without me needing to go see any doctor to get it out. Thank God for that.

That day before dinner time, I was busy calling people up and thinking about how to settle so many things. My mind wonder off again and I pick my cat the wrong way up. Whiskey's powerful craws accidentally sank into my cheek and my lip just like that in a flash.

The pain was instant followed by numbness and taste of blood in my mouth. I got scratch by my cat on my face for the FIRST time in my life. What a lot of 'firsts' in one day.

So this is poor little me. I got a real fright that night. While trying to keep myself calm and not cry out. I quickly dab my face to stop the bleeding. My brother came t rescue with a bottle of magic potion thta work wonders for stoppage of blood ( basically and minor wounds).
ididn't realize there were some scratch on my arm too. I accidentally rub some onto my face while I try to wipe my face clean. Result: bloody face. My brother stare at me in shock.... I must have really looked real bad.

Rushed through dinner of which I barely eat. We jumped onto the car and speed off to ur family doctor. He helped me clean up my wound and applied some glue stitch, something like a instant glue.

I wonder is there any other options for a scar-free treatment? As soon as my wounds are healed i am going to look for some vit E cream or whatever thats available right now.

so sad......so many things just keep happening to me that I am seriously having a hard time trying to deal with all of them.
    sob...........wish i can just sleep.

    My New Baby kiss kiss

Hello everyone, I have been as usual 'very busy' all the time. But I still take sometime off to do a little typing here and share what I am up to recently. This is the latest and one of my most treasured possessions: HTC HD2 . I am still thinking up a name for it. Haven't decide yet.

You can find out more information about this baby online and everywhere...so I am not going to talk much about its specifications and all. One thing I am really proud of is it is from Taiwan. Always support your own country's product. Anyway most IT items from Taiwan anyway. Haha.

Open~ Wow...Bling...It felt kind of huge at first but after a few days I am totally used to it and find my old hp kind of small. Haha.

The leather casing that does not come with the pda. My uncle told me Taiwan is cheaper....but still..............sigh.........This leather pouch cost RM90...heart ache. This month is a total wallet bleeding month.

This baby is just exactly as what ever is said on the net. And the more I touch it the more I am in love with it. Though basically it is still just a PDA and nothing amazing. Still.....it is very pretty and got lots of nice stuff in it. Hopefully this baby will survive long enough.

All in all I am very very happy with everything about this baby. ^^~~ yeah. I am going to learn how to utilize it better. Now I can email and do a lot of stuff at various wifi points. ^^

I am glad one of my favourite Mickey characters are in the Rich list and on No.2 !! Actually this list is really amazing and unexpected. even Chuck Bass is on it too. Wowowow........seems like the recent fictional characters are getting richer and richer when compare to the last decade. I am kind of envious of their riches. Money can not buy everything but without money you can never buy anything. haha. It must be really joyful t sit in a pile of GOLD coins. ^^~~~ Just for fun.
