    Oh You are so Vain

This is one of my all time favourite songs sang to tease someone or to be teased in return with as I am " Oh so vain"~ . haha

You walked into the party like you were walking onto a yacht
Your hat strategically dipped below one eye
    Your scarf it was apricot
You had one eye in the mirror as you watched yourself gavotte
And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner
    They'd be your partner, and....

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
    Don't you? Don't you?

You had me several years ago when I was still quite naive
Well you said that we made such a pretty pair
and that you would never leave

But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was me
I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee and....

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you.....

Well I hear you went up to Saratoga and your horse naturally won
Then you flew your Lear jet up to Nova Scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun
Well, you're where you should be all of the time
And when you're not you're with
Some underworld spy or the wife of a close friend
Wife of a close friend, and....

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you.....

I think I am going to fall more and more deeply with this fantastic woman. She had sang all the beautiful songs that touched and light up the spark of love in my heart. Don't you just want to believe in love and fall right into it?

Who does it better than you? My dear darling. You are the best.

I only have my eyes for you. I wonder can u see me? Do U know I am here? Or have u long past me by?

The Lazy Song ( Sexy version)

I totally get this feel. This has become my no.1 song right now. I just feel like doing this all the time. Lazing around and don't feel like doing anything. That's what I call the real luxury of life. No offence but I definitely love this version much better. The "sex" part is even cuter ^^ wink wink~~ Bri is so beautiful. Loving that warm sunshine, white bed, long wavy hair, black bra, see-through shirt and oh...those long legs and cute hot pants. Ok...I am sounding kind of on the stalker side. p/s: Girls do appreciate all these qualities too. By the way, I am not Les maybe Bi? But right now I am 100% straight. However I do know how to appreciate beautiful creatures of the fair sex.

Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything

I'm gonna kick my feet up then stare at the fan
Turn the TV on, throw my hand in my pants
    Nobody's gon' tell me I can't

I'll be lounging on the couch just chilling in my Snuggie
Click to MTV so they can teach me how to dougie
'Cause in my castle I'm the freaking man

Oh yes, I said it, I said it
I said it 'cause I can

Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything
Nothing at all, nothing at all

Tomorrow I'll wake up, do some P90X
Find a really nice guy, have some really nice sex
    And he's gonna scream out
    This is great

(Oh my god, this is great)

    Yeah, I might mess around
    And get my college degree
I bet my old man will be so proud of me
But sorry pops, you'll just have to wait

Oh yes, I said it, I said it
I said it 'cause I can

Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything

No, I ain't gonna comb my hair
    'Cause I ain't going anywhere
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

I'll just strut in my birthday suit
    And let everything hang loose
    Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Oh, today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything

    Nothing at all
    Nothing at all
    Nothing at all

Amazing things u won't see in any other place!I

Hello guys. I should really bring my camera around town with me at all times. The cam on my hp sucks. The colour is not vibrant enough and no zooming!!!
Anyway I still got what is necessary big enough for everyone to view! Here they are: Just for fun.

Horses running loose on the road.
We were crossing the road to hospital at that time and suddenly out of no where, we heard some noise and turn back. There they were: HORSES! We were guessing some run away horse from the nearby polo club perhaps?

Another one, this was hard to snap in a moving car using my touch screen phone.
    The Superman wannabe!

I really wonder what the guy is thinking when he fix those extra wings on the logo. For those who can't see. Zoom in.

    A tiny miracle star.

That's Not a spider web growing out from my friend's hair. Just a pretty little whimsical star that caught my eyes.

Boss not around? What do we do? SLEEP. :p

Was kind of shocked when i walked by this fitness shop. The 2 shop keepers were sound asleep on the nice massage chairs. Haha. Ooops....I hope those shop keepers won't get into any trouble because of this.

    My beauty diary mask review

Hey guys! I just want to let you know that I am still alive and well, breathing and finally blogging on this planet. As more and more natural disasters struck Earth every other months, can't help it may be the time to start thinking about migrating to some other planet. Will I live to see that day? Anyway I have been spinning on this merry-go-round of serious life, work and responsibilities recently.

In the spare moments of my break I get to upkeep myself a bit. Here the weather is really dry. As the saying goes there is NO ugly women just Lazy women. How to use a mask? Simple:
1: Wash ur face 2. Pad ur face dry 3. Read instructions on the back of the pack 4. Open it and put it on. Most of the masks I ever used all are for 20-30mins on ur face.

This "My Beauty diary mask" range is really good. Nice smell, non-sticky texture, really works and moisturize your skin perfectly. What I like about it the most is the shape and proper holes at the eyes and mouth without the flaps. It is really seldom to find mask that fits my face perfectly since masks are made to accommodate different face shapes. I found mine. It has always been a wonder to me : I know it saves time to moisture your eyelids and lips at the same time when you moisture your face with a mask. But......You can't talk, you can't see for the next 30mins. In that case simple means one need to lie down perfectly still on the bed for 30mins. That will be really uncomfortable for me.

I have tried out the strawberry yogurt, honey, black pearl, red wine and Q10. I think hyaluronic acid moisturizing mask is the best. You can feel your face skin tightening.

Review: 5/5 Kisses. I will continue to buy this brand. I love it.

This is the mask set I got. Alice in Wonderland series. I really love the cute packaging. The company really know how to do marketing to catch the hearts of us girls.

    Egg Nog

Hello people I know I have been off the blog for a long long time. I can't even remember when was the last entry. OH MY GOD. This is my FIrst blog post in year 2011!!! Oh wow. And it was more than 4 months since I last blogged! I never abandon my blog it is just somehow I never get to blog all this while.

Guess being in the clinical years with heavy workload, it is inevitable. From now on I will just do some random updates when I am free.

I have ONE MAjor thing to report: Right now I can really understand how lucky it is that you get to sleep at night. Soundly, comfortably in your own bed for up to 8 hours at one go. That's like a blessing. Oh...how sweet is sleep, how soothing is sleep, how wonderful is sleep... Let us just fall asleep~ ( sing along with any nice tune u have in mind.)

Why the Egg Nog ? I have no idea. While laughing insanely over " Big Bang Theory" and also realizing how much I have in common with those 4 comical geeks of which means I am a great geek/nerd too. While that <- goes on I came across this: Egg Nog. ( of which Penny was drinking with rum at that time.) Seriously I think I never had it before, though I heard numerous times about it on the TV. So what exactly is it?

    Here from the Wiki:

Eggnog, or egg nog, is a sweetened dairy-based beverage traditionally made with milk and/or cream, sugar, beaten eggs (which gives it a frothy texture), and liquor. Brandy, rum, moonshine, or whisky is sometimes added; and the finished serving would be garnished with a sprinkling of ground cinnamon or nutmeg.

Eggnog is a popular drink throughout the United States and Canada, and is usually associated with winter celebrations such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year. Commercial non-alcoholic eggnog is typically available only in the winter season. Eggnog may be added as a flavouring to food or drinks such as coffee andtea. Eggnog as a custard can also be used as an ice cream base.

Mmm.........sounds not my taste at all and kind of weird. The milk is fine but adding raw egg in it and adding rum? That totally taste funny. Ok. To give it justice I need to taste it first. May need to wait for some time before I get my chance to try it. Or I can get the recipe and make my own
concoction. Yes. That's me. Always getting fascinated by tiny funny things around and looking them up online.

Currently am focusing very hard on how to maintain my own health at the most optimal level as to avoid disastrous consequences of possible infections around hospital. I caught a bad viral/bacterial infection a few weeks ago and end up having on and off high grade fever, flu, cough...the list can go on and on. It was nightmare! No wonder I can't go online and blog! Ha. GTG. Need to wake up at 7am. --> Night mare. FYI: I am a night walker. :P So you can imagine how sunlight affects me. " Ah.....hot! Glaring. Pain. I am feeling dizzy." = this sums what I think of waking up too early in the morning.

Night people~ Don't miss me. p/s: I am the narcissistic Aquarius and this is all the reason I can brat about how narcissist I am.

An Apple A Day Keeps the Doctor Away~

An apple a day, the lyrics

An apple a day keeps the doctor away
Apple in the morning - Doctor's warning
Roast apple at night - starves the doctor outright
Eat an apple going to bed - knock the doctor on the head
Three each day, seven days a week - ruddy apple, ruddy cheek

Origins and history of the nursery rhyme
The simple history or meaning behind the words of this nursery rhyme lyrics is one to encourage the child or even baby of the family to eat healthily!

Well, all is kind of funny and cute. I am sure lots of my friends will be laughing their head off at this nursery rhymes. Are you going to teach your kids this?

Maybe is the coffee I have had just now. I am now feeling palpitations and totally restlessness or simply I am just excited over the approaching end of 2010 and the coming of 2011. I wonder what everyone will be doing?
Watching TV? Getting ready for the New Year Eve count down? Or planning for a great feast? Me? I am not too sure yet. Will update later.

Too bad for me after the holiday will be the EOP. End of Posting exam and the sudden pop up of Mock exam too. Sigh....Can't really fully enjoy the Hols.

While I am reading through the books I came across lots of words wisdom by our forefathers that I would like to share.

" The heart....moves of itself and does not stop unless for ever." Leonardo da Vinci.

How beautiful this phrase is. This is the beauty of our human body. Works so well that none of the robots human ever built can compete with it( so far...the day we built one maybe is the day we discover who created us? Or how we really come by.)

This is kind of funny and serious at the same time:

    The Urine.

"The ghosts of dead patients that haunt us do not ask why we did not empty the latest fad of clinical investigation; they ask why did you not test my urine? " Sir Robert Hutchison

This valuable fluid must not be discarded in any patient in whom a renal, diabetic, gastroinestinal or other major system disease is suspected.

I like the old fashioned way of writing: this valuable fluid. Make it sounds like liquid gold. Some of our lecturers will scold us by making funny jokes so will make us remember. Hopefully longer than the gold-fish. Somehow I felt we are so scattered minded recently.

" For one mistake made for not knowing, ten mistakes are made for not looking." How true this is. Sometimes we do come across too-busy doctors missing out things that we, the med students who are dedicated to search through every single patient's case file and dig into their lives and drag out their history of illness. Sometimes it is a bit too much when med students all can feel it is an enlarged spleen but doctor diagnosed as enlarged liver. -_-..... speechless.

I clerked one old lady recently and felt deeply for her. I have a hard time trying to imagine to be in her shoes or being her family member. How does it feel to be like that? How should we look at life if I am her? She is 72 years old only much much younger than my granny but she looks like 82.

Her chief complaint is: Chest pain for 2 days. The pain is pressing in nature, comes on intermittently at rest and last around 2 mins each time. It is associated with minimal SOB, general discomfort, lethargy, nausea and vomiting.

Aside from her complaint, she told me a curious information: She has been taking Tramadol HCI ( a form of pain killer, opioid analgesic) for 6 tablets 6 months everyday. She was enjoying the great side effect of drowsiness which gave her a good night sleep. This old lady was smiling happily while telling me how sweet were her nights. I am really speechless.... Maybe she is having the adverse effect of this drug but ...she is totally full of others drugs due to her conditions. We seriously need to check her up properly. The inevitable DM + HT is forever there and she is complicated with ESRF ( end stage renal failure). She got AV fistula to do her dialysis for 13 years already. Now her right forearm AVF failed and they set up a temporary Internal jugular catheter for her while her upper arm AVF got ready to be use. Not only that on further questioning I found out her surgical history is quite impressive. Removed kidney stone, removed benign breast lump, abdomen operated, bilateral below knee amputation. That just leave her lungs and head haven't cut open yet. Can u imagine a small fragile old lady lying in bed with multiple surgical scars on her body, cannula, tubes stuck into her arms and no legs.

A sad picture? Maybe. But I am glad she is very lively and cheerful. Not only her kids constantly come visit her, she still can order the 24 hour maid to massage her back all day long. I am glad she has all hers needs attended to. Or else I will be very sad and uneasy. There is only so much we can do for the patients. Frankly speaking she is the most 'operated 'patient I ever clerked so far. Who knows I may see even more impressive conditions in the future.

    This is life.

People are born, people die every single day. Life is full of sadness and happiness. In a hospital you can see so many so many things about the human nature. I have seen a few deaths and some bodies being wheeled out. I do feel chills running down my spines at times. However now when I watched some Movies about haunted hospitals....it made me laugh. Somehow the hospital is so crowded and we were all so busy. We never got a spare time to think about ghosts. Not only that that place is like a market place. How to feel eerie and scared in the middle of the night. A & E is lie fish market, people come in and out, even got little kids running around.

There are so many sickness and death recently, especially near the New year. Friends' relatives got strokes and some die in sudden accidents. My own grandma had cancer and undergo chemos and all........I don't know. Life is not like the sweet and spicy and everything nice.

I think I need more time to observe, learn and digest to come up with some idea about life.
