    Experimental Kitchen: Home Cook Meal

It has been quite a long while since I have tasted a good home cook meal. Miss mummy and home. :( ...Anyway really glad Chinese New Year will be coming soon and I will be home for all the yummy dishes!!

The other day out of pure primitive sense of desire: I want to eat home cook food!! Thus grab my wallet and drag who so ever can help me carry grocery along to shop.

Here I reveal: My super simple No skill required Everyday cooking style. My cooking philosophy is wash everything clean and make sure everything is cook NOT burnt. It should be edible and harmless at least. Anyway I really wonder who will be interested in reading about me cooking. I think only my friends or juniors will be bugging to cook for them that's all. Remains me of that Spaghetti thing last time. Everyone want to have a bite of my dinner.

Since me: the poor student who stay outside can only afford a little stove I got to cook one dish at a time.

First one coming up is Fungus stir fried prawns.

Throw in lots of garlic and onions, stir stir..

Prawns throw in and make sure turn orange pink. I like to shells to be intact keep the sweetness in. ^^~ Of course remove the head and legs but I am too lazy to clean other parts.

    Vegetable in.
    Mushroom in.
Mix everything, turn them round and round. Just make sure equal amount of heat on the ingredients will do.

Second: BBQ sauce pork. Own invention. I marinated them in BBQ sauce that's all. As I am really have no idea how to cook it. Finally found pork in supermarket which is so rare. I love Piggy! They are beautiful , clean and tasty. I rank fish and pork the top meat of choice.

Fried egg with pickled vege and chili.

Fish and chips. Roast your toast and break them into tiny pieces for the crust. I learn this my good friend.

    See golden brown fish fillet.

This is a table set for 2. Me and my fat brother. He refuse to eat prawns so a tiny dish of non prawn vege for him at the side.

Ah....it does feel nice to be able to sit down round a table have a bowl of white rice and a great meal with family. Our family always have the most peculiar rice bowl. Here I like to use clear glass bowls. Back home mum got this metal shallow Korean bowls for us.

MY fat brother who refuse to be in the pic. Haha . But I manage to snap his fat neck anyway.

I am very thankful that I am always very lucky when come to cooking. I can always produce something not only edible but also kind of tasty. My mum has this idea that once I am married I will automatically know how to cook. And she simply refuse to let me help cooking. Think I am in the way maybe. So...I either learn from friend or internet on how to cook. I find cooking is actually quite simple. It is sort of like chemistry lab sessions. As long as the recipe you follow is accurate and exact and simple to follow, you can do no wrong. The dish will come out alright as it is suppose to. So far as long as it state the exact amount of what sauce to add the flavour usually is there.

Seriously I am going to look up on recipe about pork dishes. Maybe this time I go and learn how to clean, wash and cook a fish. I have never ever handle a whole fish before. Dory is exception as it is already a clean fillet.

So...cheer for me on the way too be a good cook. Haha~
