    What is Love?

    Love love love.
Whether you are young or old, guy or girl, straight/gay/lesbian, every where you look : On the TV, magazines, books, movies, Dramas, journals, blogs, radio, daily conversation, countless online dating/matching/be friends applications....what else?
    It is simply everywhere.
Everyone is talking about love, waiting for love, looking for love and hopefully have love.

    What is Love?

    Definition:
    1. A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.
    2. A feeling of intense desire and attraction toward a person with whom one is disposed to make a pair; the emotion of sex and romance.

    From dear Wiki:

Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection.

The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure ("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my girlfriend"). This diversity of meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.

As an abstract concept, love usually refers to a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person. Even this limited conception of love, however, encompasses a wealth of different feelings, from the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love to the nonsexual emotional closeness of familial and Platonic love[2] to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love.

Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships.

An interesting factor I have always find amusing is the
    Chemical Basis of LOVE:

When people are experiencing Love, the chemicals that are present in the brain might be involved. These chemicals include: nerve growth factor, testosterone, estrogen, dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, oxytocin, and vasopressin.
For both human male and female sexual behavior, adequate brain levels of testosterone seem important.

According to Slater's research, chemically the serotonin effects of being in love have a similar chemical appearance to obsessive-compulsive disorder; which could explain why a person in love cannot think of anyone else. Not only that some of them are utterly blind too.

The long-term attachment felt after the initial "in love" passionate phase of the relationship ends is related to oxytocin, a chemical released after orgasm. Moreover, novelty triggers attraction. Thus, nerve-racking activities like riding a roller coaster are good on dates. Even working out for several minutes can make one more attracted to other people on account of increased heart rate and other physiological responses.
Guys who are taking someone out go for a date better choose somewhere that's more 'action', the girl might fall for you. ^^**

Love comes in many forms, shapes, sizes and may fill any container.
    But,
    Even after all this time
The sun never says to the earth "you owe me".
Look what happens with a Love like that!
    - It lights the whole Sky. (Hafiz)
This is what I think the ultimate of true love.
