    Movie: Pained Skin

    "Pained skin."
A very beautiful, poetic ancient love story between human and ghost.

Tell me, which man won't fall for a beautiful, soft spoken, sweet woman?

Ha. I am always kind of slow when come to watching movies. I like this movie very much. The director shot it in a way just like beautiful oil painting. Very beautiful, soothing. The original story of " Pained Skin" in the story book was quite typical. In my opinion, this movie version is much better.

    Typical story goes:

One man met a lonely beautiful girl on the road. He help her in some ways and soon he was told by some passing by priest/monk/ ghost hunter/fortune teller that he has been in contact with evil. Not only that that evil spirit will harm him. Of course as a typical man he will never believe what was told. Such a innocent, fragile, pretty girl who can't even kill an ant. How can she harm him?
Well, well, well. Dear typical guy. You will never know. She may even slice you open and take your heart right out just like that. ^^~

    One of the Best Scene:

Girl: Will you give me your heart?
Guy: Yes. I will give you all my heart.
Girl smiling sweetly and said;" Really? Thanks."
    Guy:" Eh....Oh...You...You..."
She is holding his blood dripping heart in her pretty while hand.

So...Guys beware. Don't anyhow give away your heart just like that. Sometimes you might really literally lose it. LOL~

Anyway usually the guy will 'accidentally' see the monster revealed themselves. In this case a demon taking off her human skin and started painting on it. Who ever sees the truth nature of demon will never get to see another day. Thus...exit that unlucky guy? No. He got a faithful, loving, brave wife. She will do anything for him. Move the mountain, dry up the river and even swallow the sputum of some insane guy. To bring her husband back to life. In the end, the demon will be killed and everything will be peaceful again.

This movie has almost the same story line too. But it is much more interesting, other than loving couple, there is a kong fu super good ex-lover, pretty demon plus her lizard admirer. Everyone was so deeply in love with each other.

I especially like the part where they look and said nothing. The actors can really speak with their dazzling eyes. It is so full of emotion, tension, question and love in those deep pools of their soul. When Pei Rong ( the wife) told her husband that she was the demon that killed all those people in town, he totally don't believe her. ( even when she looks just like a demon herself with all those white hair and red tears.) He said: "No matter what you are, human or demon. I still love you. You are my wife. " This is like way too OMG kind of love declaration.
I would end my life right and there if I am just like that wife in the situation. No matter who are what you have done. Your man still love you. Isn't that enough ? It is just too romantic. I feel for that 1000 year old demon foxy too. Though she is so evil but she loved that guy too much.
    Love...
Sigh...Will I ever find and have a love just like that? Just like in Emily Dickinson poem? If God may, I wish to love you even after death.

Tiffany sniffing a bit as she always indulge herself in beautiful love story.

p/s: Pardon me for all those grammar mistakes. I will try to improve. Ashamed to say I actually scored quite ok on IELTS: 8/9 ...but still. ... Hahaha. I will try hard to live up to that as I was told off by my dear friend. Recently I was being too impatient in typing and end up having so many typing error and grammar mistakes.
